Important Update for Our KJFC Community
Supporting Child Safety and Positive Communication Under New Social Media Rules
As most of you are aware, new social media restrictions for children come into effect on 10th December and we want to reassure our families and supporters that the health, wellbeing, and safety of our young players remains at the heart of everything we do.
Kinglake Junior Football Club is committed to a communications approach that reflects our values and supports a safe, positive environment for all children.
If you have any questions or need support around Child Safety, please reach out — we’re here to help.

U10s and U12s will commence their pre-season in the new year. Everyone is welcome to come down to the training sessions, please keep an eye on our socials for further information regarding training dates for 2026.

U11 Finals wrap and Award winners
Our Under 11s played on into finals and hosted Mernda in a thrilling elimination final at Hurstbridge. It was a perfect day for footy as our kids showed heart and determination in spades to come away with a 7-point win. Standout performances from the game include Jake who led strongly and dominated through the midfield, Ben and Van who both gave solid performances and remained composed under pressure and Lach who showed why he is one of the best forwards in the competition with an unstoppable effort and an incredible 7 goal bag!
That’s a wrap for season 2026!
We are thrilled to confirm our Under 11s team is finals bound! They have just continued to dominate in recent games and although they couldn’t quite get the win over division leaders Greensborough, they still brought their usual high level of intensity, effort and work rate. We would like to congratulate Ben and Jake on their recent 50th games milestone and also extend a big welcome to new teammates Jacob and Nathan W. It is always difficult to single out players in this group of little legends but we would like to congratulate our recent award winners Jake, Jacko, Levi, Lach G, Van, Nathan W, Jacob, Liam, Nathan S, Jett and Harry. We look forward to finals and wish them the best of luck!

Following the pre-season training sessions we’ve had pizza nights and end-of-year BBQs which were enjoyed by players and parents alike.
Building for 2025!
2024 was a fantastic season for the Kinglake Junior Football Club. We fielded two teams this season; Under 10s and Under 12s. Both teams did so well, with the Under 12s playing finals. A big thank you to our coaches, players, parents and all who have volunteered time throughout the season.
