A Growing Junior Football Club

We’re More Than Just a Footy Club

The Kinglake Junior Football Club is a growing junior football club based at the Kinglake Memorial Reserve Oval in Kinglake, Victoria.

Known as “The Lakers” we provide a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children ages 4-16 who wish to participate in AFL football. Our focus is on skill development, fitness, building lasting friendships, and ensuring every player feels valued and inspired to grow.

Our dedicated coaches and volunteers work tirelessly to nurture young talent, teaching the fundamentals of football with an emphasis on building important life skills through sport.

Competing in the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL), our teams proudly wear yellow jumpers with a green mountain design, reflecting our connection to the Kinglake Ranges and our community.

Our young people are truly engaged with their local community which is a challenge many small country towns face. Our supporters and players regularly pitch in and help with community events. We truly believe we are developing the community leaders of tomorrow. This commitment to community strengthens our club and fosters a sense of pride and belonging to everyone involved.

At Kinglake Junior Football Club, we’re more than just a footy club - we’re a family, united by our shared love for footy and our commitment to the growth and development of our young players. Our values of leadership, teamwork and community are at the heart of what we do.

Joining our football club is an excellent way for children to meet new local mates and for families to meet other families in the area. Join us to be part of the Laker’s legacy!

Go Lakers!
